Privacy without vague promises

This policy explains which parts of the generator stay in your browser, which aggregate analytics load by default, and what happens when you choose to email us.

Effective July 29, 2026

At a glance

  • Your Personal cue and generated username batch are processed in your browser and are not sent to a name-generation server.
  • Your selected theme and names you explicitly favorite may be stored in local storage on your device.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) loads by default for aggregate site and product measurement. The site does not show a consent banner.
  • We do not intentionally send generator inputs, generated names, favorites, email addresses, or feedback message text to GA4.
  • If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message you choose to send.

Browser-local generator data

The generator uses JavaScript running on your device. Your Personal cue is used in memory to shape a batch and is not saved by the site. Generated names remain in the page until you replace them or leave.

If you click the heart icon, that selected generated name is saved in your browser's local storage so it can appear on a later visit. The three-theme preference is stored the same way. You can remove favorites with the Clear favorites control or clear this site's local storage in your browser settings.

Google Analytics 4

GA4 loads automatically when pages load because the site owner uses aggregate data to understand acquisition, product use, and problems. Depending on your browser and Google configuration, GA4 may use cookies or similar identifiers and may receive data such as page URL, approximate location derived from IP address, browser/device information, referrer, session activity, and interaction events.

Product events are limited to non-content settings and counts, such as the selected vibe, team, type, maximum length, whether digits were enabled, result count, copy position, favorite count, theme, and feedback category. They are designed not to include what you typed or the names generated.

Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the site's GA4 configuration. Google acts as a separate service provider and handles analytics data under its own terms and privacy documentation. Browser privacy controls, extensions, network settings, or blocking tools may limit GA4.

No consent banner: analytics is not gated behind a site banner. This behavior is disclosed here so visitors can make an informed browser-level choice.

Server and delivery logs

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process request information such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamps, and security signals to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site. Those records are governed by Cloudflare's services and retention settings.

Email and feedback

The feedback form opens your email application rather than posting the message to a website database. If you send the email, the address, subject, message, and any other details you include will be processed by the relevant email providers and received at our support mailbox. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, or other sensitive account details.

Children and public names

The tool is not designed to collect children's personal information. A generated trainer name may become public inside the game, so do not use a full legal name, birth date, school, precise location, or other identifying detail as a cue or final username. Parents and guardians should help younger players make privacy-conscious choices.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the site, analytics setup, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised for material changes.
